Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the retail store.
Lead, supervise and motivate store employees.
Drive sales and ensure that performance targets are achieved.
Deliver excellent customer service.
Manage stock levels, stock counts and shrinkage.
Maintain merchandising and store presentation standards.
Handle customer complaints professionally.
Manage staff schedules, attendance and performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and submit operational and sales reports.
Identify opportunities to improve store performance and profitability.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 to 5 years’ retail management experience.
Proven experience managing employees and daily store operations.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving targets.
Good sales and customer-service experience.
Experience with stock control and inventory management.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Must reside in Pretoria or surrounding areas, or be willing to travel within the area.
Preferred Requirements
Matric or an equivalent qualification.
Relevant retail, business-management or supervisory qualification.
Experience in a high-volume retail environment.
Computer literacy and point-of-sale system experience.
